Meet the founder, Liza!
Liza’s Loaves was born (kinda) in a very small kitchen in Chicago, IL, when Liza needed a ritual to help mark time in March 2020. The practice continued when Liza moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University for business school, and her loaves became a staple at any social event. As cliché as it might be, Liza was bit with the entrepreneurial bug while earning her MBA, and the company was born in March 2022!
While growing the company, Liza often heard that her challah was “too pretty to eat” or “should be saved for something special.” Challah *is* special, but Liza hopes to use her company to encourage everyone to just use the special things. Special things are meant to be used and enjoyed, and that includes your Liza Loaf!
Liza and her husband, Ben, are bootstrapping this small business and they hope you share, enjoy, and cherish each Liza Loaf as you create warm and joyful memories of your own!
