Meet the founder, Nicole!

Nicole and her husband Nick started building their tiny apothecary in 2019 on this same land. Working off-grid and with the rhythm of the seasons, Stomping Ground Herbals was born!

Nicole touches everything from seed to product. She is the brain behind the recipes, the tender of plants and creator of products. Her passion for tending the earth was born working alongside her great-grandmother, Rose, growing vegetables and herbs on the land in the heart of Nashville.

Today, guided by the knowledge passed down by Rose, Nicole tends to the very same piece of land that now produces many of the herbs for the plant magic of Stomping Ground Herbals.
